The fuel cap I ordered doesn't fit
Our products are designed as a direct replacement for the manufacture's original cap where fitted. Some modern vehicles are fitted with the Capless or Easyfill system. Please see our specialist range of products if your vehicle requires this style of cap. If you are unsure, please ask.
A standard replacement fuel cap will not fit a Capless or Easyfill fuel system.
If you order an incorrect item you will be charged an administration fee to cover our costs. As we do not state free delivery all our items incur a charge for carriage which we will deduct for any items returned, this does not affect your right to return.
My original fuel cap looks different to the photo in your store.
To avoid copyright issues, the European OEM manufacturer we use, will make the cap look different from that of the original manufacturer. Please be assured that it will fit and work as the original was designed to do, be that vented or non-vented and with a lock or without a lock.
Overseas Import Duties / Charges
The total order price displayed on the confirmation page (before payment is taken) includes International Shipping and your Free Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. This price includes UK VAT (at current rate). Import duties / charges are not included in the total sale price but, may be charged in your country of destination depending on the total value of the order.
I have ordered an item that I don't require, can I send it back?
Yes, not a problem you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item/items, and you will need to complete the Returns form to authenticate your order and create a Returns Code.
Do you accept telephone payments?
No. Having experienced personal data theft first hand, our founder is very aware of a need for secure payments. All our online payments are made through Nochex UK using 3D Secure for MasterCard or Verified by Visa. We do not hold any card details relating to the transaction. We only see the shipping address, your contact details and of course what fuel cap you have ordered.
Can I place an order if I don't live in the UK?
Yes, we will arrange for delivery to an address outside of the UK, the Nochex payment will be verified before we can send the goods. Any failed details will invalidate the order process and we reserve the right to cancel any incomplete details and Refund minus an Administration Charge
Will you accept Money Transfers from Western Union and MoneyGram?
No, we do not accept money transfers from Western Union & MoneyGram or similar companies.
I have a Freelander 2006. Does that make it a Freelander 1 (L314) or the Freelander 2 (L359)?
It's very easy to identify, as the Freelander 1 has an exposed cap whilst the Freelander 2 has a filler flap and the words Freelander 2 on the rear hatch. We stock two options for the Freelander 2. Internal bayonet (two lugs) or internal screw type.

I live outside the UK. Will your Fuel Caps fit my vehicle?
Many countries require an annual emissions test (part of the UK MOT). A test of the fuel cap is part of those tests.
The caps we sell are from a European OEM manufacturer, so are designed to meet or exceed the original OEM equivalent. Now providing that your country did not require the Original manufacture of the vehicle to modify the fuel system to meet the emission test, the caps we sell will be the same.

My vehicle is not listed. What do I do?
Simple, fill out the enquiry form and we will do are up most to try and find the correct item for you.
Can I Call & collect the item?
No, very sorry we are a internet based only company and do not allow access to our storage facility.
My delivery has not arrived, what should I do?
In the first instance check out the Royal Mail Track & Trace service using the tracking reference you received in an email at point of dispatch. If this comes up blank call the relevant delivery company to see if they can put any light on where it is, but remember the Royal Mail do not class an item as missing until 15 working days from date of posting, this does not include Saturdays or Bank Holidays. Sometimes the card that was left can get mixed up in with the rest of the junk we get each day. Still no joy give us a ring and we will see what we can do to help.
Can you supply caps for classic cars?
Yes, we work very closely with the manufacture to reintroduce caps back into the market for classic and older model vehicles. You will need to fill out the contact form giving us as much information as possible, and we will return your request at our earlist opportunity.
